The amazing Tony Colosimo has moved to our home town of Leesburg, VA and we have taken advantage of both his proximity and expertise! Tony is joining us on a monthly basis as our regular vocal coach.
Tony is the lead singer of First Take (male quartet) who recently won second in 2024 International Quartet Contest!
We can already see/hear the improvement. Tony has competed in quartets since the age of 12 with many of them being notable competitors in regional, national, and international competitions. In addition to First Take he's also is in Better Together (mixed quartet), the associate director of the Alexandria Harmonizers, a certified singing judge, and is an active coach and clinician for youth and adults in BHS events. Anthony is a professional singer in the Washington D.C. area. He has performed at the White House, Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap, on TNT, and under many notable choral batons.

A few months ago, on March 25, we participated in the Barbershop Chorus contest at the Mid Atlantic District/Southern Division. Finals in York, PA.
And we WON! (sort of). We got the trophy for Most Improved Chorus and Second Place overall (although it FELT like first place). Next step is division finals at the end of September.
We could use your help. If you're a singer, come joint us! If you're a business, sponsor us! If you just like to listen to barbershop, singing come to an event or rehearsal -- you're always welcome.

We had a great time strolling in downtown Leesburg this past Saturday sining holiday favorites to friends new and old. Speaking of holiday favorites, our Holiday Show is coming up in a few weeks at the Franklin Park Arts Center in Purcellville. We look forward to this event every year, sharing the stage with some very talented high school groups. Tickets are on sale now!
