The Old Dominion Chorus is based in Leesburg, Virginia. We are Loudoun County's a cappella chorus for men and are a chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. We welcome passionate singers who strive for musical excellence. Our members come from Loudoun County and the greater Washington, DC metro area.
- We are entertainers. We sing a variety of musical styles – from traditional to doo-wop to Gospel to contemporary a cappella. We love to bring smiles to faces as we share familiar favorites.
- We are competitors. We view competition as a tool to help us improve as a chorus, so we regularly participate in Barbershop Harmony Society Division and District competitions – for the enjoyment and camaraderie of being together with our partners in harmony, and for the excellent coaching and learning opportunities.
- We interact with our community. You may see our chorus or one of our quartets around Loudoun County in shopping centers, First Fridays in Leesburg, car shows, community fairs, or at one of our show performances. We’re also available for hire for private parties and events. We want to share the joy of singing and do our part to make the world a happier place – one smile at a time!
We have also been involved with Loudoun County Public Schools' CASA program and the Loudoun County Public Schools' a Cappella Festival.
Regular rehearsals are open to anyone who wants to sing with us or just come by to watch!
Guests are welcome to join us on the risers. We will provide you with music and place you on the risers near someone who sings the same voice part so you get a feel for what it would be like to perform with us
